howdy guys!
its me 'the bunker' back again :p
i have reached back to college after a one n a half month break.....actually the break was for summer training in a industry. I did training in dad's company..(hell! couldn't even bunk there :P).
the break was great with me going to hospital for around three times... :P
first time for fever..second for my breathing prblm , third time was the worst one..had ann accident ended up jhaving 3 stitches...on my left leg..its much better now.. :P
ohhh now back to hostel ...again bunking classes and havng fun with frnz.,,... :)
but the fachchas are so damn dumb..they look like uncles as if they have kids.. :D :P
n first nyt at the hostel was so fun..woke up whole nyt pranking around.. ;)
well its not bad to be a SUPER-SENIOR :p

BHAG DK BOSE ticks all the check boxes available to make a song deliver the nature of the film...the main one here being you obviously don’t want to watch this one with your parents.... :P :P
As a visual, the song has quite a strong Greenday influence (American Idiot) and as a song......It’s a fun song if you are sober, but an instant classic if you are in a “party” frame of mind…and if your name is actually DK Bose! :D

Music composer Ram Sampat throws in another pleasant surprise as the second track NAKKADWALE DISCO, UDHARWALE KHISKO is a loungy Indo-fusion track, the kind that the late Nusrat Khan would have gladly done…with different lyrics maybe....... :P :P
Even though the tune is quite monotonous, the lyrics are quite funny and provide the main premise for the song....Keerthi Sagathia is great at giving the vocals here.

By the time track three starts, it is quite clear that Delhi Belly may not have any traditional Bollywood type songs. SAIGAL BLUES features leading voiceover artist Chetan Shashital doing passable KL Saigal mimicry. As a concept, this idea fits in perfectly with the vibe of the album. It is designed to surprise and the lazy lounge beats offer a super contrast to this style of singing. This one actually belongs to Ram Sampat, with the way he has treated the song. It’s a trippy tune and the Saigal bit just makes it that much more cool. Nice.... :)

well these were the first words that i said in the morning when i found myself wrapped inside mah quilt enjoying the warmth in that chilly morning..not able to remember that i was in hostel..
well it was a 10 day leave from college..
actually the leave was of 4 days only.but i came back after 10 days.

had a great time at home with friends, parents and my li'l brother.
missing ol that fun and masti here in hostel.
now i have to reschedule myself according to my new semester.
another semester passes off...so quickly it went off that i didn't even knew that it's over on the last day too.
hmmm...so i have grown another semester older..
hope this semester goes well too with proper studies :P, fun :), and loads of sleep :D.
now sitting in the internet lab to write this post because my phone browser just went off << poof >>>!!!!

Had a great day yesterday. Had loads of fun..enjoyed to the fullest.
we were four old besties and we went to delhi just to have fun pure fun..
well actually we were five in number because my brother as usual was "kabab mein haddi".

so i was just having my regular sleep at home when Abhinav called me up and said that he is coming to my place wih Herdesh.
well it was a long time since i saw both of them.
they were at my place in a hour or so. we were just sitting and gossiping about each other's present life.
we were having mum made breakfast too.
then suddenly it came to my mind that we should go out somewhere to hangout or well my proper wording would be "bhai chal kahin awaargardi karke aate hain!! "
Then off we go from my place to Rahul's place in a hope that he will also accompany us.
but he was not at his place then we went to Ankit's place and picked him up tooo.
first of all we went to the metro station.....and as we boarded the train we were back to our old days masti...we were playing around the whole metro teasing girls :P
and Ankit's witty sense of humour and Abhinav's tubelight property that he never gets a joke well.
Herdesh was all the time on phone messaging his girl friend,.\
then we met Ankit's girl friend at the malviya nagar metro station.
and talked to her for quite a time. then we went to karol bagh...
as we reached there, evryone was looking at me that why the hell were we there...i said "token ankit ne liye hai, use pakdo not me"!!
then after a long discussion or say arguement we decided to go to palika bazar.
we had lunch at karol bagh only.
then we went to palika bazar..bought kulfi then walked into the palika bazaar.
we were just roaming there and we did only three things there and that was "roaming", "more roaming", and "more n more roaming".

then to mcdonald had burger.
then ate icecream.
then in the metro while coming back we were talking about our school days and we couldnot stop laughing.
we were just reminiscing our old days..
it was great time spent together.
and we have planned a nightout too after i get back home.

It was a great morning. Abhinav called up to say that he and herdesh are coming to my home to pick me up.
Had mum made breakfast. Then off we go to delhi. Got to pick ankit on the way. N yeah its going to be a great day out. Its been a while since we guys are gonna had a blast. Hope this day out is gonna reunite us and a great sense of friendship and love between us that we shared once when we were in school.
Hoping to have a blast.

it is the time when we just keep on lying in our quilts till late mrngs...and wait for someone to come up with a hot cup of tea properly brewed with the essence of love in it!!!
winters are the most fun time ...if u r amongst those who r rdy to give up their quilts and come out to enjoy these winters!!!!!
wish it snowed in india..i mean in delhi or haryana.....it would have been a great place to stay , play , n have fun with our friends...
but this time of year is like a nigthmare for college students because they have examz and they are busy studying and all...but in this hotch potch life...we studenta find a way out to enjoy winters...escpecially hostellers...because they live away from their homes and have no boundation as well....by boundations i mean family restrictions...
we can do bonfire up on the hostel terrace...we can have alcohol to keep our selves warmmm....if we wanna have group fun...we just roam aroound the camous with our heavy clothing on and shouting, playing prancing over the grounds!!

winters are very special for couples too....this is the time when they can propely hug or cuddle each other and feel the "warmth" of love...

so winters are for evryone...and evryone should enjoy it...

SALMAN KHAN SUFFERING FROM A BLOOD CLOT IN THE EYE

On 12th October 2010, Salman Khan tweeted that he is suffering from a blood clot in the eye due to which his vision is unclear and he had to stick to shades for thefashion show, "Thanks for the concern. It was just a small scratch near the eye but because of all the commitments with 'Bigg Boss', launch of 'Being Human' watches…and so the blood clot spread in the whole eye. I was ok to walk the ramp without the glares but everyone who saw my eye got scared so I thought it best to wear the chashmas (glasses)…Black, hazel, brown, light brown etc , so for a few days I have 1 red and 1 light brown hehehe enjoy."

Salman even said that he had a fun time scaring the beauties backstage with his bloody eye. He also assured his concerned fans that he would recover in a few days and his eye would look normal again. We're hoping to see two light brown eyes soon…

Well, now we know that the insidious report against Salman not attending the Big Boss special shoot on Sunday due to the alleged late night partying is untrue. And we hope that the 'Dabangg' Salman, who is under a lot of pain because of the blood clot in his eye, recovers soon.

Bollywood shocked by Commonwealth Games disaster

"Disgraceful", "shame", "horror", "embarrassment" - these are some of the expressions that Bollywood stars have used to describe the mess in the arrangements for the Commonwealth Games (CWG).
Most actors have taken to Twitter to express their views on the issue, following the collapse of a portion of a false ceiling on September 22 recently at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium complex, the main CWG venue. The incident happened just a day after a foot overbridge at the stadium came crashing down, and complaints of the unhygienic conditions in the Games village hit the headlines.

Celebrities like Shilpa Shetty, R. Madhavan, Ranvir Shorey and Diya Mirza, among others, have expressed their concern over the image of the country due to the CWG mess.
Here's what they had to say:

Shilpa Shetty: News that things are falling apart a week before the games begin and how! Athletes are pulling out due to health and safety concerns…just makes me cringe. This could have been a great opportunity to make our country proud. Unfortunately CWG hasn't brought us the pride and honour we thought it would.

Diya Mirza: All hopes despite every negative sign have been thwarted for good. National shame but more so, national horror the CWG has turned into. I just hope that this shakes us all out of our slumber. I think what we lack the most is respect. If we respected our country, would we be as corrupt? The values that we strongly uphold, integrity, honesty, respect all forgotten? I feel so angry, disappointed and let down.

R. Madhavan: The CWG is already an embarrassment. I don't think we are firstly, morally prepared for something like this. Honestly there is a limit to things we can brush under the carpet and I believe everything the media has to say about this issue.

Vishal Dadlani: So, what's more disgraceful for India? Cancelling the damned CWG, or actually letting them happen? Thanks politicians, bureaucrats and contractors, for this CWG mess. I'm sure you made lots of money from the sale of our national pride.

Kunal Kapoor: CWG - What was supposed to be the nation's pride has turned out be it's shame! Actually, it is silly to expect pride when we are ruled by corrupt and shameless politicians. National pride is the last thing on their minds!

Ranvir Shorey: After the bridge, a ceiling has collapsed. Dogs, poop, falling buildings... I'm already enjoying the CWG. Waiting for something to collapse on one of the government officials who're telling us everything is alright at the CWG. Government expects support for the corruption that is bringing us international shame.

Rhea Kapoor: Apalling! The CWG seems to be going to the dogs! Who is in charge? Time to start praying for a miracle.

Roshan Abbas: What does one say, embarrassed by CWG. India will be the laughing stock and many will still line their pockets and not care a damn.

TWENTY FIVE THINGS TO BE KNOWN ON BECOMING A TEENAGER!

A family I know has a tradition of making a book when their children hit 13. Everyone writes a memory, or a piece of advice. I set down to write a list of 25 things that are *actually* true. Is there anything wrong here? Is there anything I'm missing?

1. You are somewhat better looking that you think you are.

2. You are somewhat more popular that you think you are.

3. Your parents are somewhat more cool than you think they are. They are somewhat less cool than they think they are.

4. Your parents are sometimes wrong. You are wrong more often.

5. For any given "grown up" activity, somewhat fewer people are doing it than you think.

7. People are not thinking about you. They are thinking about what you're thinking about them.

8. You are entering a period of chronic, low-level insanity. You will look back on your teen age years and realize this. All teenage girls are insane.

BASIC BASKETBALL RULES

1.) The ball may be thrown in any direction with one or both hands.

2.) The ball may be batted in any direction with one or both hands.

3.) A player can't run with the ball. The player must throw it from the spot on which he catches it, allowance to be made for a man running at good speed.

4.) The ball must be held in or between the hands; the arms or body must not be used for holding it.

5.) No shouldering, holding, striking, pushing, or tripping in any way of an opponent. The first infringement of this rule by any person shall count as a foul; the second shall disqualify him until the next basket is made or, if there was evident intent to injure the person, for the whole of the game. No substitution shall be allowed.

6.) A foul is striking at the ball with the fist, violation of rules three and four and such described in rule five

7.) If either side makes three consecutive fouls, it shall count a goal for the opponents (consecutive means without the opponents in the mean time making a foul).

8.) A goal shall be made when the ball is thrown or batted from the grounds into the basket and stays there (without falling), providing those defending the goal do not touch or disturb the goal. If the ball rests on the edges, and the opponent moves the basket, it shall count as a goal.

9.) When the ball goes out of bounds, it shall be thrown into the field and played by the first person touching it. In case of dispute the umpire shall throw it straight into the field. The thrower-in is allowed five seconds. If he holds it longer, it shall go to the opponent. If any side persists in delaying the game, the umpire shall call a foul on that side.

10.) The umpire shall be the judge of the men and shall note the fouls and notify the referee when three consecutive fouls have been made. He shall have power to disqualify people according to Rule 5.

11.) The referee shall be judge of the ball and shall decide when the ball is in play, in bounds, to which side it belongs, and shall keep the time. He shall decide when a goal has been made and keep account of the baskets, with any other duties that are usually performed by a scorekeeper.

12.) The time shall be two fifteen-minute halves, with five minutes rest between.

13.) The side making the most points in that time is declared the winner.

This game is very different than the one played today. For example, dribbling and most physical contact are not allowed.

THE BLISS OF ONAM

Onam is the time in kerala that is marked by exchanging pleasantries among friends and kin. They enjoy feasts and sports.

Sport competitions are arranged to signify the big day and stress the imperative need to live like brothers and sisters and in perfect harmony and to share each other's joys and accomplishments as also to share the sorrows to minimise their effect.

This is also the time of harvesting. Farmers are joyous as they get ready to reap their crops. The rains have abated and the sky is free of clouds.

According to belief, the festival is all about the king Mahabali, who, like lord Rama, was very popular with his subjects and worked with a missionary zeal for their welfare. Like Rama Rajya, in Mahabali's regime, there were no dacoities, no atrocities, murders et al.

Legend has it that Dev Raj Indra, envious of the king, hatched a plan to show him his potential, as it were. He sought the help of Maha Vishnu and visited Mahabali as a brahmin to grant him a piece of land to measure up to three steps.

Brahmins were held in high esteem in those days and nobody was prepared to earn the displeasure of a brahmin. The devil in Dev Raj Indra at once covered the entire place and pretended the wholie of it was covered in just two steps and sought to know where should he put his third step. In obedience, he offered his head; and was pushed into 'patal lok'.

Mahabali then asked for a boon to be granted to him. Out of sheer love and regard for the people , he wanted that he be granted the permission to visit his subjects once in a year.

It is said that on the day of Onam every year king Mahabali visits his people to bestow his benevolence. Onam comes, therefore as a reminder that one should be good to one and all and fulfill the real purpose of life.
